No, we aren't in New Orleans. We are here, and I am finishing up my first week back at the school after a too-short summer; the summers are always too short, you know. I hope to continue posts about our summer in the States this weekend, beginning with NOLA.
How about that Vespa, eh? I saw several of them sitting outside of the main station in the French Quarter. On another note -- Young One has recently added police officer to her list of potential grown-up careers, albeit only for the donuts. I kid you not.

Happy Weekend, Friends :)
Nice one! Last week we just had guests from New Orleans :) Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteAt least that is a step up from my middle son who wants to be a truck driver. No, my mom is from the states. When I was 16 she was in a car accident and she used some of the money to see Europe. Also, my husband is from a village near Frankfurt. He is a professor and will work this summer while we are there at the university.
ReplyDelete@Reine -- New Orleans? REally? I am not from the city of New Orleans, but I did grow up in the countryside nearby. We go back there each summer to visit family & this summer we spent a couple of nights in the city. FUN.
ReplyDelete@Kelleyn -- Now I understand. I've been to Frankfurt a few times as our headquarters are in Wiesbaden, such a delightful city.
