:: the last thing I learned ::
Sunday we went for a nice walk which concluded with a bit of wine tasting at a cantina in Mossano. Though several bottles of wine were available for the crowd, the highlight of the experience was a taste of the grape juice from this most recent harvest, the juice ready for fermentation.
And so I learned . . . "juice" is not the correct term . . . the correct term is "must."
We tasted the grape must, or mosto, in Italian.
It was much better than any grape juice I've ever had.
