I'm sharing a quick glimpse into our most recent opportunity to go away for the weekend; I have officially decided that in the mountains vs beach debate...mountains win every. single. time.
..............
For me too...mountains always have that something that one cannot find on beach...maybe in winter beach...but in summer...
ReplyDeleteLovely mountains!
The nice thing about the mountains though I am a beach girl is that you don't bring 500 pounds of sand. One day I am going to go to those mountains.
ReplyDeleteI hope so!

I'm with you...mountains every time! Your photo is gorgeous...how lucky you are to be able to visit such a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteLucky indeed, Simply Bev.

what a lovely place to get away too.
ReplyDeleteI love the mountains but the beach a little bit more.
I do waffle between the two, but I think the mountains will win in the end.

Oh, no, I don't agree! The Alps are unique - I'll give you that. But whereas you can only "see" mountains, even when you hike and reach a summit, the beach - well, you can immerse yourself it in, and into the waves, the expanse of water. Land and sea, we need both :)
ReplyDeleteOh...IDK...I can immerse myself in those mountains, too. BUT I do need the sea as well....just not as much :)
DeleteGorgeous! I waver between the two. It depends on my mood. If I feel athletic, it's a mountain vacation I crave. If I am tired, it's a beach that I want. No better sleep than on a beach :-)
ReplyDeleteps The tile on your banner looks like the tile in "my" hotel in Sorrento. Lovely! I actually took a photo of the floor in our room as I liked it so much.
Heather,
DeleteI found the tile in Lisbon; it covers the exterior of many of the buildings.

you were in Italy too?!!! Me too, quite nearby! I stayed at Merano and I loved the mountains there. I hope my daughter wants to go back... I do!!
ReplyDeleteI live in Italy.
