Any place where I feel immersed in nature is what I consider to be my sacred space these days, especially the mountains...which is a bit unexpected since I was raised in the Mississippi River Delta, complete with a mighty, muddy river, swamps, sugar cane fields, and flat lands for miles and miles.

I think my girl just might share my feelings.
