It's been a loooooong time since I've done any scrapbooking. I mean years, decades, centuries...ions. I'm making an honest attempt to bring it back, all digital, this December. Two days into this project, and I'm feeling pretty confident.
Two concerns: I'm not sure how I'll muster enough content Every. Single. Day. as my life can be fairly mundane, especially during the week when I'm at work all day, December or not. Secondly, it's generally dark during the times we are home, and I'm pretty awful with photos inside in the dark. I'm shooting for a combo of DLSR and iPhone. Wish me luck!
I'll share details of how I'm creating these "layouts" and my inspiration to get restarted with this type of memory keeping later, maybe.
you're off to a good start, good luck with the project!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement! I will need it in a few days, I'm sure.

Go you!! I am very impressed and look forward to hearing about the inspiration behind the project.
ReplyDeleteThank you! While I'm not using templates, per se, I am using some elements that I've purchased. Not all, though. I've learned a thing or two in Photoshop from talented students over the years of putting together yearbooks :)
DeleteYou don't see that many churches with such paintings on the wall. Happy December!
ReplyDeletenice project, but does it need to be daily? wouldn't that become quickly a chore vs fun? could it not be weekly? still better than nothing at all!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I am allowing myself many freedoms in creating this project. I have wanted to do it for a few years & am just happy that I am in a place this year that I feel like I can accomplish it, rather in that overwhelmed state of life.
