Fall has arrived and with the changing leaves and dropping temperatures comes the desire to fire up the oven and begin baking again. Today I made my first-ever batch of cinnamon rolls. Oh, mercy me, they are divine! I used Pioneer Woman's recipe and am pretty certain that I'll never seek out another. We each enjoyed one after lunch, and then I quickly got those things out of here by sending Young One over to the neighbors with a sweet offering.

Are you local? I happen to know that some others nearby have been busy making cinnamon rolls for a fundraiser bake sale: Tuesday outside of the PX from 11 to 2. Go. Buy one. You won't be sorry. Buy several. Buy them for your friends. They will love you for it.
You're the best : )
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Next time you make these don't forget to invite me. Yummy! They look amazing!
ReplyDeletecinnamon rolls without eggs!!! WOW! hooray! going to give those a try very very soon!
ReplyDeleteI cut the recipe in half. I froze half of it & still had plenty to share with neighbors. It's a lot!
ReplyDeleteDana -- You are very welcome. I'm afraid that it likely won't bring you much business bc I don't have a following, but it's worth a shot.
Thanks Kelleyn . . .come on over!
I didn't even think about the eggs. . . but, yes, you are correct. There is an unbelievable amount of butter and sugar. . . over the top.
You are right about never looking elsewhere for another cinnamon roll recipe. They are simply fantastic and the best cinnamon rolls I've even eaten!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good reminder, I haven't made cinnamon rolls in ages. I wouldn't want to wait idle in the baking department until 11.11.11:)! Happy week, Dana!
