A tropical storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico could ruin a quick getaway to the beach in Florida...such great timing, no? We were not able to go into the dangerous Gulf waters and the wind was kickin', but since we escaped the rain, we managed to pass a good time, nonetheless.
Thank you, Emily. I sometimes feel like I'm not painting an authentic picture of reality, though. It's easy to photograph the beautiful things in life. We did have a lovely time together...even if there was a drowning nearby, the kite strings broke quickly, and the sand would sting us from time-to-time!
Grazie, Kelleyn. The glue batik idea is from Lucia at Dim Sum, Bagels, and Crawfish...I didn't link up bc I'm having a heck of a time with this mobile blogging!
I love seeing the world through your eyes. Everywhere you go you find community and connection and beauty, and it's so refreshing!
