She found a bit of time for gliding and climbing in between the rain showers that have drenched the paese for the past several days. Schools were closed for a day because of predictions of epic flooding, landslides blocked roads, and substantial waterfalls fell from the limestone cliffs that surround us. That's quite an eeire experience, to see and hear the water falling forcefully where it usually doesn't.
We had a bit of a reprieve Saturday, but as I type it's once again pouring and plans for a morning out on our bikes have been foiled...thus, time for this blog post. I haven't been around here as much as I like to be, but I'm not yet ready to give up on blogging entirely. See you soon!
Wow! rock climbing, epic flooding, and cliffs turned into waterfalls. Hope the weather settles down soon and please don't give up on blogging. Kind of like the weather, I also find that my blogging ebbs and flows. It used to worry me when I'd have long dry spots, but somehow it always gets going again.
ReplyDeleteYou must have sent some of that rain this way as we have had flooding in the low lying areas. I awoke this morning to what I hoped was thunderstorms. The booms were so loud that one could have mistaken them bombs.
