Uncivilized
It's all about balance, isn't it?
Or maybe not. . . .
Tonight Richard and I are headed out alone, as in without the five year old who is usually attached to my hip, to celebrate my birthday with a visit to an Indian restaurant in Padova. Tomorrow we've been invited to the home of friends to celebrate again (my birthday, her new job assignment) with a taste of Thai. Sunday the Saints are in the Superbowl, so how could I not celebrate on a grand scale then? I mean. . . it's the SAINTS in the SUPERBOWL, who cares if I don't even understand football. THE SAINTS ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL.
Balance? Don't think so. Not this weekend.

Happy Birthday! We're cheering for the Saints too!
ReplyDeletehappy birthday! and congrats on a night out with your husband. your daughter is very adorable, if not civilized. my brother, who lived in tokyo for several years, told me that slurping your noodles in japan is not bad manners, so it might depend where you are whether you're considered uncivilized... good to know as i'm a slurper, too.
ReplyDeletegoooo, saints! i think everyone is cheering for them this year. xoxo
Doesn't Richard hate Indian? I LOVE it! It's one of my very favorites! Enjoy the night! And Happy Birthday!
