Feeling grateful for friends this Thanksgiving Day
Friends with whom we break bread
Friends with whom we make bread
Living away from family would not be possible without the love and support of friends, friends who become surrogate families. This is especially true of the holidays. Today we 3 are grateful for those people far and near that we call friends, people who've been with us for Thanksgiving or Easter or Mother's Day or Christmas or birthdays or any special occasion where love is present but brothers and sisters or moms and dads are not. Whether it was a one-time occasion or a yearly recurrence, we are thankful to have you in our lives.

Oh, and we're feeling pretty dang thankful for the care package of andouille and pralines that arrived this week. Thanks Mom & Dad.
Super nice photo Dana, and nice gathering of friends and kids. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful that you have friends and family in Italy. What a blessing. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! We are also grateful for friends today since we had a similar gathering. And Pralines!!! I always crave my grandmother's pralines during this time of year. I keep trying to make them but still haven't succeeded. Maybe this will finally be the year I get it right.
ReplyDeleteGreat news...did Maddy get her nail polish?
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! We will be celebrating it a little late- tomorrow on the island of Gozo.
