We have just committed to returning to this special "someplace else" that is Napoli late this summer; it will be a good end to a busy summer.

    1. She and I will depart in a couple if weeks. Ischia is a very popular destination for the Germans, so I'm not surprised that you've heard of it. When we went, it was full of Neapolitans!

  4. i should commit to going back to Naples again too. unfortunately, my memories of naples and the US consulate general there (and the procedures to get a green card) are intertwined, and ... well ... "somewhere else" sometimes involves complex borders that aren't so easy to cross.

    1. Believe me, I totally understand you. I am a Cajun girl from rural Louisiana. I didn't even know the world was this big until I one day found myself teaching in Naples. It's been nearly eleven years now.
