Apricots
June 2010 |
Living in this rather small village in the country has allowed me to
notice nature's cycles much more. The same tree that gave us incredible blossoms in March is yielding juicy fruits in June. The neighbors invited Young One to help pick a few and then sent her home with nearly ten plump, ripe apricots piled into the make-shift basket of her t-shirt. I hope that she, too, is noticing the gifts of nature that surround her -- even if they are usually in the yard of the neighbors :)

ReplyDeleteI'm sure she is!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily.
ReplyDeleteI think she might be noticing. Just recently I noticed that she can name flowers and tree types. . . I guess she just pays attention bc we certainly never taught any of that purposefully.

Quick random question: How do you get your captions in the box around the photo? I'm learning about blog design. Do you know or is it part of a template? Def. put you in my reader.
