Richard's corny joke of the summer:

Q:  If you go into the bathroom as an American, and you exit the bathroom as an American, then what are you while you are in the bathroom?

A: European!  (You're 'a peeing.)

HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!

The king of corny jokes, he told it over and over and over again this summer.  A few weeks ago I overheard Young One, who heard it over and over and over again this summer, telling the joke in Italian to her buddy Matteo.  I had a chuckle when she got to the punchline "European" and said, "Stai facendo la pipì."  (You are making pee-pee.)

The play on words, of course, doesn't translate.
She didn't get that.
He didn't laugh.
She didn't care.
Do six year olds even listen to each other? Ever?

(I decided on the Canon 50 mm 1:1.4 lens for my students. Nice.)

  1. My children would love this joke! It made me smile! I can't believe you have never been to Milan except the airport. It sounds like you need a girls weekend.

  3. Love! Hearing Richard's jokes just make me laugh. Mostly because it is so him.

By the way, nice school camera. Much better than my point and shoot. I really do need to take a class and get a better camera. Someday.
