Daisey -- Okay. So, about the corn. I was told that the corn was "borrowed" from a nearby field by one of the visitors from the South. Since we've always been told that most of this corn in our area is grown for animal feed . . . well, we passed on the corn. "Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink." This little fact did not seem to bother the visitors & they ate it up. . . . . hmmmm.
I'm pretty sure that the corn was indeed not edible; this did not stop some from eating it. It is pretty on those coals next to that fire, though . . . isn't it? D

The fabulous lazy hazy days of summer and being able to enjoy such evenings with family friends and delicious food. :)
