Sunday Seafood Dinner

Grand Isle State Park

We drove two hours in the wee hours of Sunday morning to reach Grand Isle, a Louisiana barrier island.

The kids played in the murky, silt-filled waters where the Mighty Mississippi meets the Gulf of Mexico while we all hoped to catch a few crabs.

We caught some, we bought some. They were all good.

We then returned home. They are best boiled. Boil they did.

My fav is the shrimp. I miss it when I'm gone.

A huge thank you to my dear brother-in-law who worked his tail off to make this experience possible.
